Power of the 2016 Honda CR-V
The CR-V provides you with a powertrain that lends well towards efficiency, and all trims are motivated by a 2.4L four-cylinder engine that makes 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can go with all-wheel drive if you wish. Power is distributed courtesy of a continuously variable transmission. Safety technology is at the forefront with Honda designers, and as such the CR-V comes loaded with protective inclusions for you and your passengers. Included on all models are anti-lock brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic brake distribution, a multi-angle rearview camera and three-point seatbelts for all seating positions.
Our 2016 Honda Crossovers like the CR-V have amazing features inside.
2016 Honda Crossover Trims
Going with the Touring trim of these 2016 Honda Crossovers gets you a lane departure warning system and a forward collision warning and mitigation system, and upper trims also get the innovative LaneWatch system. Your right side mirror comes with a camera that is activated whenever you use the right turn signal. This in turn shows you your blind spots in the display screen in the dashboard.
The standard features of the base LX trim are abundant, and highlights include a roof-mounted antenna, a remote entry system, one-touch turn indicators, an intermittent rear wiper, intermittent front wipers and auto delay-off halogen headlights. Also standard on the LX are power door and tailgate locks, cruise control, sliding sunvisors, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, air conditioning, and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player, a USB port and an auxiliary audio jack. You also get Pandora capability with this system.

SE trims get everything mentioned, but they come with a few extra features for the exterior. Highlights include larger alloy wheels, rear privacy glass and a premium security system. EX versions of these 2016 Honda Crossovers tack on daytime running lights (LED), front seatback pockets, a retractable cargo area cover, push-button start and heated front seats. Among the extra technology features are a 7-inch touchscreen with HondaLink smartphone app integration and more speakers for the sound system (seven as opposed to four). The range-topping Touring model gains the extra safety features to go along with 18-inch wheels, a power liftgate, a navigation system and HD radio.
The HR-V is a new model that mirrors the CR-V in many ways, but it is a smaller version with its own unique design. Under the hood, you get a 1.8L four-cylinder that is rated at 181 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. LX and EX trims get a six-speed manual transmission, and a continuously variable type is an available option. The latter is standard on the EX-L Navi. Conveniently, all trims can be had with all-wheel drive. Of note is that AWD trims can only be had with the continuously variable transmission. The base trim is dubbed the LX, and it comes with several convenient features both inside and out. Outside, you will find a fin-style roof antenna, LED brake lights, a roofline spoiler (body-colored), an expanded driver side mirror and intermittent windshield wipers.
Inside you’ll find chrome door handles, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, passenger assist grips, a center console with extra storage, rear seat heater ducts, cargo area tie-downs and a driver side garment hook. EX trims gain rear privacy glass, automatic climate control, a larger touchscreen and stereo system, and keyless entry and ignition. EX-L Navi trims provide roof rails, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a navigation system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
